Complete & Original Recording of Selavy Released
The first complete original cast recording of Doctor Selvay's Magic Theater (1972) was released on August 23, 2011 and made available for download on iTunes, Amazon, or from select stores.

Mint vinyl copies of Elephant Steps (1974) are now available exclusively from Academy Records in New York.

NANOOK OF THE NORTH.
On May 27, 2010 TCM aired the American Film Institute's restored version of NANOOK OF THE NORTH. The broadcast, hosted by Robert Osborne, featured the Silverman score performed by Tashi.

Capeman in the Park
Stanley’s Tony nominated orchestrations were heard in the Public Theater’s presentation of Paul Simon’s The Capeman at the Delacorte in Central Park, August 14-16, 2010.

Publishing News
Stanley is pleased to announce that his concert music will be available for performance through Subito Music. The entire catalog will be represented for mechanical licensing by Primary Wave Music.

Stage Works will be available at the Rodgers and Hammerstein Theatre Library including the collaborations of Stanley Silverman and Richard Foreman.

Events

The premiere of Silverman's TRIO No. 2 took place on September 14 and 15, 2011 at the Kaufman Auditorium Tisch Center at the 92nd St. Y in New York. Dedicated to the memory of Herman Sandler, the event also coincided with the 35th anniversary of The Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio and featured Sting as a guest artist. The Trio is currently touring the piece as part of their repertoire. For the complete performance schedule, see this link.

James Taylor performed Stanley's orchestral arrangements with John Williams and the Boston Pops at Tanglewood July 1st, 2011.
